Building Bigger and Better with IBM

IBM is a Fortune 500 company and for good reason – they produce top-quality products that meet and exceed customer demand by improvinghard drives .  Officially known as, International Business Machine Corporation, this New York based company has a history that dates back to the 19th century! Whether buying something to do with nanotechnology, hardware, or laptop computers, you can expect the best. IBM takes great pride in providing memory upgrades for their computers, knowing that user’s needs have also evolved. To show you just a few examples of this, we wanted to touch on xSeries memory, Xstation memory, and WorkPad memory.

Relating to xSeries, IBM has a long list of models, each offering something unique.  With the 346 8846 model, you can reach a maximum storage level of 16 gigabytes.  To accomplish this, the PC2-3200 registered ECC DDR2 SDRAM DIMM is required.  Considering you only begin with 512 megabytes of xSeries memory, this is quite a jump.  Next is the Xstation. The VAXstation 4000 VLC is a great option to consider.  Already installed on the computer is eight megabytes of removable memory.  However, this can be pushed to a maximum level of 24 megabytes. Finally, remember that all computer manufacturers have great solutions for increasing memory. With Gateway, you have upgrades for 930 memory, with Toshiba, there is Dynapad memory, and with Dell, you have OmniPlex memory.
