Choosing a Snug-fitting USB for the Best Connection

A common problem with various types of USB memory cards is the fit. When buying a new SDHC, micro m2, or micro-sd memory stick, you want to make sure you purchase a quality product from a reputable manufacturer. Today, you will find a number of designer type cards, which look great but not all fit the USB port, as they should. With more and more manufacturers creating elaborate housings for the various types of memory cards, sometimes the result is a loose fit, meaning the connection does not work right all the time.

Take the designer or novelty type of memory stick. Although small and loaded with capacity, the card itself might be heavy or bulky. This means when inserted into the USB port, weight pushes the card downward, thus interrupting the fit. To ensure you do not have to deal with this problem, always buy from a reputable source. Another option would be to buy a short USB to USB extension cable, which is the male to female connection. This way, any tension placed on the port would be eliminated, problem solved! Keep in mind that many of the so-called, “designer” memory cards work great so if you want something with a little bit of personality, you can have it but again, choose the product from a known company, which greatly lessens the possibility of having a bad fit.
