While Microsoft CRM is an excellent program, a great way to build customer relationships, it has to be managed properly to get the most from it. Without doubt, the Microsoft CRM service has proven highly successful for companies around the globe. With this tool, your sales and marketing department can interact with the customers in a more efficient way.  As a result, you end up with happier customers, who become lifelong and loyal customers.

As stated, while Microsoft CRM sales and marketing tools work amazingly well, we recommend your employees follow six rules for the best performance.

  1. Always keep the Microsoft CRM application open. That way, when a customer calls or contacts an employee, no time is wasted in getting the program open.
  2. Make sure that employees record information pertaining to the customer as it happens, not enter it later when they remember to do so. It is imperative that all data be captured in real time, which means doing it immediately.
  3. Then, the Microsoft CRM service tool should be used to record planned activities. For instance, if an employee made a promise to contact a customer at 4:00 p.m., that information needs to be recorded so the action can be carried out on time.
  4. Additionally, make it a habit to go through the CRM system prior to meeting with customers, going to meetings, or taking any actions. It could be that something has changed within the system, requiring different or additional action.
  5. For salespeople, make sure the information is tracked so it travels through the appropriate pipeline, keeping all relevant groups in the loop.
  6. Do not be afraid to list detail. Track everything with the exception of competitor comments or things that could cause a lawsuit. Other than that, tracek calls, quotes, complaints, and so on.
