Solving Your Problem Of High Cost Inkjet Printers

On September 15, 2008, in Printers, by Admin

Inkjet printers run on ink bottles placed in a cartridge and contain ordinarily one black ink bottle and one color ink bottle. While the print quality is very good, there is some inherent shortcoming in use of inkjet printers. First of all it is not at all economic because the cost is normally very high. Secondly, there is always apprehension of spilling over or leakage of the bottle. Thirdly, the ink tend to dry up with the passage of time and fourthly and most important factor is that a full cartridge can at best give you 80 full pages of printed materials. It does not matter whether your printer is Encad or nay other brand. The syndrome is common in all inkjet printers.

Change of Encad parts may not help you in the long run. For the time being you can of course change the ink by way of refilling the cartridge bottles or you can replace the printer itself. But the fact remains that none of them are either economic or convenient.

It may be better to take a cue from other leading manufacturers of wide format inkjet format like the Mimaki and adopt an altogether different principle to be applied. The principle is that of the bulk ink system where you dispense with the requirement of replacing cartridges. Since the ink flows from the bottles to the printer directly and since no sponge is used in the printers for soaking the inks, there is no wastage through soaking.
